The order of speeches will be the following: pediatrician and cultural animator Carlo Alfaro, Professor of Literary Subjects Marisa Cimmino, entrepreneur Paola Savarese and President of the “Friends of the Correale Museum” Nadia Di Leva. The event will be concluded by writer Raffaele Lauro, who stated: “My deep thanks go to Mayor Giuseppe Cuomo and Councillors Maria Teresa De Angelis and Mario Gargiulo, for having agreed to welcome in the prestigious Sorrento Town Hall Council Chamber the presentation of my new novel, which after ‘Sorrento The Romance - The conflict between Christianity and Islam in the sixteenth century’ and ‘Caruso The Song - Lucio Dalla and Sorrento’ concludes the trilogy dedicated to my beloved native land. On this special occasion I will be honoured to announce the publication in 2017, in English, of a pocket volume of ‘The Sorrentine Trilogy’, so that my homage to Sorrento and the Sorrentine Peninsula can become also the cultural heritage for the foreign visitors of our beautiful Sorrento and Amalfi Coast.
