After the enthusiastic reception at the events in Vico Equense, Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi, Sorrento and Piano di Sorrento, Meta will conclude the cycle of the Sorrentine Peninsula presentations of the third novel of “The Sorrentine Trilogy” by Raffaele Lauro, “Dance The Love - A Star in Vico Equense”, dedicated to the Russian dancer Violetta Elvin, born Prokhorova. The cultural event organised by the Municipal Administration of Meta will be held at the Town Hall Council Chamber on Saturday, 5th November at 6 pm. The welcoming greeting will be held by Giuseppe Tito, Mayor of Meta. The event coordinated by journalist Ciriaco Viggiano will be introduced by Councillor for Culture Biancamaria Balzano. Among the speakers, chronologically: Angie Cafiero, President of the Committee for Equal Opportunities, Solicitor Maria Costagliola, Solicitor Francesca Attanasio and Carla Coppola, dancer and dance teacher. The concluding speech will be held by Vincenza Amato, Regional Councillor of Campania. “I am pleased – said Lauro – to be able to conclude in Meta the cycle of presentations of my new novel in the Sorrentine Peninsula. I'm grateful to Mayor Tito and Councillor Balzano, also for the choice of prominent speakers, who as in previous events will certainly make an original contribution of female reflection on the human and artistic story of a courageous woman, the lover of freedom, Violetta Elvin.”
